A Day at the Beach
Taste of Larchmont 2019
August 26, 2019
The Taste of Larchmont event is Hope-Net’s annual fundraising event and is held the last Monday of August on the 100 block of Larchmont Boulevard. For the price of a ticket, participants can eat and drink specially prepared items at over 20 participating restaurants as they stroll up and down the boulevard. There will be musicians and a raffle.
Funds raised from the event go into the operating fund of Hope-Net, Inc. All 13 Hope-Net food pantries operate rent-free and are run by volunteer staff. There is no administrative staff other than the Executive Director. The proceeds of the event therefore go almost exclusively toward the direct purchase of grocery items for free distribution at the food pantries.
UPDATE (September 2019): Thank you all for another wonderful Taste of Larchmont event! If you were unable to attend, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help support the work our member food pantries accomplish every day.
